Lasius claviger or umbratus (or any other parasitic species of this type). These ones would be cool to play as a challenge, both tend to live in or near other ant colonies to steal their food and eggs for food (mostly the thief ants "Solenopsis molesta" but i have seen the other doing it sometimes as well, but basically have a challenge where you try surviving living in another colony, steal their food and eggs for food and establish your colony, they mostly get away with this because they are small and their scent isnt always noticed by the bigger ants. Monomorium minimum or Solenopsis molesta. The others below, playable for sure, but also make for fun challenges. Camponotus castaneus, Camponotus subbarbatus, Crematogaster (any type), Pheidole (any type), myrmica (any type), Ponera pennsylvanica, Odontomachus (any type), Temnothorax curvispinosus, Colobopsis (any type).Īlso any type of turtle ants (live in trees, block entrances with their heads and can glide in the air), vampire ants (primarily feed off their brood by sucking their "blood", weaver ants (build nests in trees using their broods silk), these types "may" require added mechanics tho.
